Welcome

This is an online archive of Drum Lessons that have been passed on by the legendary drummer/instructor, Alan Dawson.
The site comes with two parts: archives and basics.
In the archives, you'll find Alan's simple but comprehensive three methods that have been proven to work by hundreds of his ex-student drummers.
The basics is a database comprised of discussions across the fundamental basics on drumming in general.
Hope that musicians including non-drummer participate in Practice Methods on this site, and find out how Alan's methods help rhythmically "shape up" your expressions on your musical instrument.
